Thanks! I am quite happy with this guy too. He is bacially the action figure I always wanted to have back in the 80s when I was a kid. :-)

I've seen your other figures on your website, you got some AWESOME designs there! Really has a sorta, I dunno, old school sorta feel to em, the sort of creativity that only existed in 80s toys, yknow?

Yes I am definitely going for an old school 80s look with my stuff. That decade had so many great original toylines that were often weird but always very imaginative. I miss that with todays lines that are almost always based on existing properties like movies and comics. I try to capture the imagination of 80s toylines and try to combine it with the level of detail and quality of todays sculpting and painting standards in the toy industrie.

That is very true, a good example is Masters of the Universe, such weird and diverse characters. I always used to say that the line was a success not because of He-Man himself, but because of all the strange characters that accompanied him.

You are definitely succeeding in your aim for your toys! :D

Thanks again!
Yes the diversity in characters was a huge strenght of the 80s toylines like Master of the Universe. I really missed that especially in the late 90s when most toylines seemed to be nothing more then endless variations of the main character. I think the last decade brought back more variation in characters again but I still miss original toylines that are not based on existing properties.

Oh yeah, Masters of the Universe was such a fantastic line, I owned soooo many of those as a kid, I even had the rare Eternia playset I was so obsessed with it. I don't mind a few variants here and there of characters (Masters of the Universe brought us the Battle Armor He-Man and Skeletor so I wont complain, lol) but yeah the 90s were full of ridiculous non-stop repaints and stuff (Batman was the chief offender with this in the 90s).

I agree, we do need more original toylines full of imagination and fun. Sure I'll always love any modern takes on classics 80s lines, but I would love to see something brand new and creative take off like a rocket like the 80s lines did and bring us something new and inventive!
