In 2065 a weapons company started to create cyborg soldier clones based on the DNA of an ancient Viking berserker warrior. Called "Bionic Bjoerns" by the public these warriors soon became the military product of its time. When selling clones became illegal in 2080 production of the Bjoerns had to stop. Over the next decades most of them where destroyed in service and by 3046 it was believed no Bjoern still existed. However in 3047 a last Bjoern was discovered in a long forgotten war museum. The unit was reactivated and became the poster boy for intergalactic beer company. Bionic Bjoern is now the star of a number of "Bionik Beer" TV spots as well as an intergalactik hitman who enforces the economic interests of his company.

O jeez, I figured this was a physical model until I read the comments by others and took note of the "3-dimensional art" sub divider. Wow!

From soldier to relic to beer spokesman back to soldier/hitman. Everything comes full circle.

Thanks! I always try to render my characters so they look like miniatures. I guess that is the toy collector in me. :-)

I was impressed as it were by the miniature I thought it was but then to see it was computer generated impressed me a second time.
As you can see I also can appreicate the toy likeness of creating.

Thanks for the fav! Yes it is all polygonal. Done with Softimage and a little bit of zbrush for the textures of the organic parts.
